A classic strand of white South Sea cultured pearls from the silver-lipped oyster Pinctada maxima, accompanied by a GIA Cultured Pearl Classification Report (No. 5242071363). The pearls measure from 9.52mm to 12.08mm in graduated near-round shapes, in natural white with an orient overtone. GIA graded the luster, nacre and matching all Very Good, with a lightly spotted surface, and found no indications of color treatment in random testing. It fastens with a 10.5mm 14K white gold diamond clasp set with 24 round brilliant diamonds, 0.16 ct t.d.w. (G color, SI clarity). Each strand is hand-knotted on silk and made to order — choose your length above.
The strand you view is the strand you will receive. We photographed this piece in our studio. This is not stock photography, and is one of a kind. The GIA Report shown in the photograph will accompany your purchase as well.
GIA comment: “No indications of color treatment based on random testing. These pearls are often referred to as ‘South Sea’ cultured pearls in the trade.” Verify this report at GIA.edu.
